The Dojo Log

We practiceon ourselves first.

Before we build for clients, we build for the businesses we run. These are real systems in daily use, described with the numbers their owners approved.

Case 01 · AI operations · Growth

One operating system for a busy multi-shop florist.

A multi-location retail florist

Orders, customer messages, reporting and ads used to live in separate tools and in people’s heads. We connected them into one system the team runs every day.

40+staff hours saved every week

The starting point

A florist with several shops and a delivery fleet takes orders by phone, website, walk-in and wire service. Every holiday, the same work piled up: retyping orders, answering “where is my delivery?”, pulling numbers by hand, and guessing which ads actually sold flowers.

What we built

  1. Order intake and routing

Phone, web and wire orders land in one queue and are assigned to the right shop and driver automatically.

    Workflow automation
  2. Customer messaging

AI drafts order confirmations, delivery updates and replies. Staff approve before anything is sent.

    AI agents & assistants
  3. Reporting dashboard

Daily sales, margin and location numbers update on their own, instead of being pulled together by hand.

    Custom software development
  4. Ads with real tracking

Meta and Google ads tied to orders, so the team can see which ad produced each sale.

Case 02 · Custom software · Shopify app

A Shopify app for florists, built by a florist.

NuFlorist

Generic delivery apps don’t understand flower shops. We designed and built NuFlorist, a Shopify app now live on the Shopify App Store and used by flower shops.

The starting point

Florists sell on dates, not just products: birthdays, funerals, Valentine’s Day. They need delivery dates and time windows, local delivery zones, card messages and occasions, and an in-store register that knows about all of it. No single app did that for both the online store and the shop counter.

What we built

  1. Delivery dates and zones

Customers pick a delivery date and window at checkout. Local zones, carrier rates and pickup are priced and validated automatically.

    Custom software development
  2. Card messages and occasions

Card messages, occasions and add-ons are captured with every order, online and in the shop.

    Custom software development
  3. Shopify POS extension

The same flow works on the shop’s register, so walk-in and phone orders follow the same rules as online ones.

    Custom software development
  4. Wire-service integration

Wire orders flow into Shopify instead of being rekeyed by hand.
